Kathmandu, Nepal, April 22, 2021: Coronavirus infection tally of the country has advanced to 292,152 after 2,365 new infections cases reported from across the country in the past 24 hours. Of the newly infected cases, 919 are females while 1,446 are males.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), Kathmandu district alone recorded 987 new cases while Lalitpur and Bhaktapur districts reported 106 and 81 new cases respectively.
Likewise, 252 people, who were earlier infected with the virus, have been discharged after recovery in the past 24 hours. With the addition, total recovery tally of the country has advanced to 276,345.
Likewise, five coronavirus related facilities have reported on Monday. With the addition, nationwide death-toll has reached to 3,117.
There are currently 12,690 active cases across the country. Of them only 81 individuals are staying in quarantine facilities.
