Kathmandu, Nepal, February 15, 2021: coronavirus infection tally of the country has advanced to 272,945 after 105 new cases reported in the past 24 hours on Tuesday. Of the total newly infected cases, 40 are females while 65 are males.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) Kathmandu valley alone received 47 cases in the past 24 hours. Kathmandu, the capital city of Nepal, has been receiving highest number of cases since few months.
Likewise, 99 people, who were earlier infected with the virus, have been discharged after recovery in the past 24 hours. With the addition, total recovery tally of the country advanced to 269,303.
There are currently 1,587 active cases across the country. Of them only 74 individuals are staying in various quarantine facilities across Nepal.
