Coronavirus positive cases reaches to 487 after 30 positive cases identified

Kathmandu, Nepal, May 22, 2020: Tally of the coronavirus (COVID-19) positive cases have jumped to 487 after 30 positive cases identified on Friday.  

According to the press release issued by the ministry of health and population, the infected patients are identified as a 45-year-old male from Binay Tiveni Rural Municipality-6 of Nawalparasi (Bardaghat Susta East) district, a female aged of 73 years and a male aged of 74 years from Kesharbagh, Bharatpur Metropolitan City-6 of Chitwan district.

Likewise, two males aged of 33 and 35 years and a 15 years old girl from Susta Rural Municipality-5 and Ramgram Municipality-3 of Nawalparasi district respectively, eight males aged from 24 to 53 years and a girl 8 years old girl from Bandganga Municipality and Mayadevi Rural Municipality of Kapilvastu district, 14 males aged of 22 to 39 years and a 18 years girl from wards number 8, 9, 11, 13, and 14 of Gadaita Municipality and Bahuarwa Rural Municipality-7 of Sarlahi district. 

The swab test conducted at National Public Health Laboratory, Kathmandu and Bharatpur Hospital, Chitwan confirmed about the persons infected with the virus. Health condition of all infectious persons are reported normal, states the press release issued by the ministry.
