Kathmandu, Nepal, April 26, 2021: Coronavirus infection tally of the country has advanced to 303,561 after 3442 new cases reported from across the country in the past 24 hours by Monday afternoon.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), of the newly infected cases, 1,333 are females and 2,109 are males.
Kathmandu valley alone reported 1912 cases in the past 24 hours. According to MoHP, Kathmandu district alone reported 1567 cases, Lalitpur 223 and Bhaktapur 122, new cases.
Likewise, coronavirus related death has advanced to 3,176 after 12 fatalities reported in the past 24 hours.
Likewise, 378 people, who were earlier infected with the virus, have been discharged after recovery. With the addition, total recovery tally of the country has advanced to 277,951, which is equal to 91.5 percent.
There are currently 22,434 active cases across the country. Of them, 65 individuals are staying in various quarantine facilities.
