Kathmandu, Nepal, November 18, 2020: Nepal’s coronavirus infection tally has reached to 212,917 after 1,442 new cases recorded in the past 24 hours. Of the newly recorded cases, 534 are females while 908 are males.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), among the newly recorded cases, 1,038 cases were surfaced in Kathmandu Valley alone. Of them, 822 were in Kathmandu district while 168 in Lalitpur and 48 in Bhaktapur.
Likewise, 3,538 people, who were earlier infected with the virus, have been discharged after recovery in the past 24 hours. With the addition, total recovery tally of the country has reached to 182,780.
Similarly, death toll due to the infection of coronavirus has reached to 1,259 after 12 fatalities related to the virus recorded in the past 24 hours.
With the latest updates, Nepal’s active coronavirus case count stands at 28,878. Among them, only 910 individuals are staying in quarantine facilities established across the country.
