Kathmandu, Nepal, October 30, 2020: Nepal’s coronavirus (COVID-19) infection tally reached to 168,235 after 3,517 new cases recoded in the past 24 hours. Among the newly infected cases recorded in the past 24 hours, 1,361 are females while 2,156 are males.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), of the newly infected cases, 1,888 cases were surfaced in Kathmandu Valley alone. Of them, 1,508 were from Kathmandu while 249 in Lalitpur and 131 in Bhaktapur districts.
Likewise, 4,096 people, who were earlier infected with the virus, have been discharged after recovery in the past 24 hours. As of Friday, 128,958 individuals recovered from the coronavirus infection.
With the new updates, Nepal’s coronavirus infection case count currently stands at 38,357. Among them, 2,666 individuals are staying in various quarantine facilities across the country, states the MoHP.
