Kathmandu, Nepal, October 29, 2020: Nepal’s coronavirus infection tally reached to 164,718 after 2,364 new cases reported in the past 24 hours.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) 2,364 new cases were recorded while carrying out 9,769 real time PCR tests in various labs across the country in the past 24 hours.
Among the newly infected cases, 1,615 new cases were recorded in Kathmandu valley alone.
Likewise, 3,038 people, who had earlier diagnosed with the virus, have been discharged after recovery in the past 24 hours. With the addition, total recoveries from the disease reached to 124,862.
Similarly, death toll due to the infection of coronavirus, reached to 900 after 17 more fatalities reported in the past 24 hours.
With the recent updates as of Thursday, there are a total of 38,952 active cases across the country.
