Kathmandu, Nepal, November 28, 2020: Nepal’s coronavirus (COVID-19) infection tally has advanced to 230,723 after 1,380 new cases recorded in the past 24 hours.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), of the newly infected cases, 834 were males while 546 were females.
The new cases of coronavirus infection were confirmed while conducting 9,368 real time PCR tests in the past 24 hours.
Of the newly infected cases, 645 were detected in Kathmandu valley alone. With the addition, valley’s infection tally alone has advanced to 106,778.
Likewise, 515 people, who had infected earlier with the virus, have been discharged after recoveries in the past 24 hours. With the addition, total recovery tally of the country has reached to 211,186.
The death toll due to the infection of coronavirus has reached to 1,454 after 19 fatalities related to the virus detected in the past 24 hours.
