Kathmandu, Nepal: Dr Govinda KC has been admitted at the Tribhuwan University Teaching Hospital (TUTH), Maharajgunj rightly after he was airlifted from Jumla on Thursday evening.
A helicopter of the Nepal Army that was carrying Dr. KC was landed at Tundikhel before rushing him to the hospital.
The government had mobilized the Nepal Army helicopter to airlift Dr. KC.
Dr KC had agreed to be airlifted to Kathmandu after police used force to disperse the gathering at the Karnali Academy of Health Sciences, where he had been staging an indefinite hunger strike since the last 20 days.
Dozens of people including the doctors and nurse had injured in the police intervention at the Karnali Academy of Health Sciences.
