Kathmandu, Nepal, June 1, 2021: Nepal recorded 6,085 new cases of COVID-19 in the past 24 hours on Tuesday. With the addition, nationwide infection tally of COVID-19 has advanced to 566,587.
Likewise, 6898 people, who had earlier contracted the virus, have been discharged after getting recovered in the past 24 hours. With the addition, nationwide recovery tally has advanced to 454,344.
Similarly, 68 deaths related to the COVID-19 infection recorded in the past 24 hours. With the addition, nationwide death toll due to the infection of coronavirus has advanced to 7,454.
There are currently 104,789 active cases of COVID-19 across the country. Of them, only 725 individuals are staying in various quarantine facilities across Nepal.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), 20,165 total tests were conducted in different labs across the country the last 24 hours.
