Kathmandu, Nepal, June 6, 2021: Nepal’s coronavirus (COVID-19) infection tally cross the six lakh marks and reached at 601,693 with 3,479 new infection cases recorded in the past 24 hours on Sunday.
Likewise, death toll due to the infection of coronavirus advanced to 6,636 after 99 deaths related to the virus reported in the past 24 hours.
Similarly, 6,636 people, who had earlier contracted with the virus, have been discharged after getting recovered in the past 24 hours. With the addition, nationwide recovery tally has advanced to 89,217.
There are currently 89,217 active cases of COVID-19 across the country. Of them, only 6,514 persons are kept in institutional isolation, 82,703 are staying in home isolation1, 442 in ICUs beds and 381 on ventilators, the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) said.
