Kathmandu, Nepal, June 11, 2021: Nepal recorded 2,709 new coronavirus infection cases from across the country in the last 24 hours on Friday. With the addition, nationwide infection tally of the virus has advanced to 604,396.
Likewise, 5,225 people who had infected earlier with the virus have been discharged after getting recovered in the past 24 hours. With the addition, nationwide recovery tally has advanced to 520,816.
Similarly, 67 more fatalities related to the coronavirus infections recorded from across the country in the past 24 hours. With the addition, nationwide death tally has advanced to 8,305.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), 15,182 total tests were conducted in the last 24 hours. Of which 9,598 were PCR tests while 5,584 were antigen tests, the MoHP has stated.
There are currently 75,275 active cases across the country. Of them, only 594 individuals are staying in various quarantine facilities across Nepal.
