Kathmandu, Nepal, November, 15, 2020: Nepal’s coronavirus infection tally has reached to 209776 after 1,477 new cases recorded in the past 24 hours. Among the newly infected cases, 912 were males while 565 were females.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), 1,477 new cases were recorded while conducting 6,476 Real Time Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) tests in different 75 labs across the country in the past 24 hours.
Among the newly recorded coronavirus infection cases, Kathmandu Valley alone recorded 807 new cases in the past 24 hours. According to the MoHP, among the newly infected cases in Kathmandu valley, 455 were males while 352 females.
Likewise, 2,798 people, who were infected earlier for the virus, have been discharged after recovery in the past 24 hours. With the addition, total recovery tally has reached to 173,430.
Similarly, total number of fatalities due to the coronavirus infection reached to 1,221 after six deaths related to the virus recorded in past 24 hours.
