Kathmandu, Nepal, November 16, 2020: Nepal’s coronavirus (COVID-19) infection tally has reached to 210,973 after 1,197 new cases registered in the past 24 hours.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) 1,197 new cases were registered while conducting 4,832 tests in different labs across the country through Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) method in the past 24 hours.
Till the date, the government has conducted 1,613,911 PCR tests.
Likewise, 2,934 persons who were earlier diagnosed with the virus have been discharged after recovery in the past 24 hours. With the recent addition, recovery tally of the country has reached to 176,364.
Meanwhile, death toll due to the infection of coronavirus reached to 1230 after 9 more fatalities related to the virus recorded in the past 24 hours.
