The government issues new directives barring people in general from walking on the streets from 10 pm to 5 am except for emergency purposes

Kathmandu, Nepal, June June 19, 2020: The government has on Friday made the decision to bar the people in general from walking on the streets from 10 pm to 5 am except for emergency purposes.

The Ministry of Home Affairs (MoHa) has o Friday made the decision with the view to contain the spreading number of coroavirus cases in the country by issuing a new directive. 

As per the new directive, people in general will not be allowed to walk outside of their homes in the streets from 10 pm to 5. The decision will come into effective from Friday onwards until further notices. 

The government’s directives have come at the time when the numbers of coronavirus positive cases have jumped into spiking umbers across the country.

As per the ministry’s press statement the directive was issued with the aim to mention high security alert at the ongoing lockdown imposed to contain the COVID-19.
