Manakamana Cable Car service to be shut from March 21 to April 12

Kathmandu, Nepal, March 19, 2020: Manakamana Cable Car service, the first cable car service in Nepal that connects Manakamana Temple from Kurintar of Gorkha, will remain shut from March 21 to April 12 as part of adopting precautionary measure to prevent the spread of coronavirus (covid-19).

Responding to the government’s urge to avoid public gathering, celebrations and feasts to prevent the COVID-19 outbreak, the Manakamana Dharsan Pvt Ltd., operating company of the : Manakamana Cable Car service made the decision to this effect on Thursday.
