Kathmandu, Nepal, february 2, 2022: The Ministry of Health and Population has on Monday instructed its subordinate bodies to send the details of vaccines administered to eligible citizens across the country.

Responding to the reports that some 2.4 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines procured by the government are unaccounted for, a meeting of the probe committee under the ministry directed the Management Division of the Department of Health Service, Health Supply Management centers of all the seven provinces, 77 district health offices and 753 local levels to send details of vaccine stock and vaccinated persons.

According to the probe committee coordinator Dr Gunaraj Lohani, the authorities concerned have to provide details of all the vaccines by 4 PM on February 4. The MoHP had on Sunday formed a five-member probe committee under the leadership of Dr Lohani to investigate over the issue.
