At least 10 killed in Dolpa Jeep accident

Kathmandu, Nepal: At least ten people were killed when a passenger jeep veered off the road into the Tholo Bheri River in Dolpa on Monday.

The ill-fated jeep with registration number Bhe 1 Cha 1610, which was en route to Supani from Dunai, the district headquarter of Dolpa district, met with the accident on Monday afternoon. 

It is said that two persons rescued alive from the accident scene were driver and a passenger. The injured passengers are receiving at local health center.  

The overcrowded passenger jeep veered 50 meters off the road at Kala Gowda. Detail about the deceased is yet to come.
