At Least Three Killed And A Dozen Others Injured In Dhading Bus Accident

Dhading, Nepal Aug 9, 2019: At least three people died and about a dozen others sustained injuries when a passenger bus with registration number Na 6 Kha 7469 met with an accident at Salanghat of Rorang rural municipality in Dhading along the Prithvi Highway at wee hours on Friday.

The ill-fated passenger bus that was heading for Kathmandu from Malangawa of Sarlahi district skidded off the road and plunged into Trishuli River at around 3:30 am on Friday morning.

According to the police three people found dead on the spot while other 14 injured persons have been rescued alive. It is said that five persons have reported critical in condition. 

As the ill-fated bus had gone to drown in the swelling river, it is suspected that more people would have missing in the river. Security forces have been carrying search in the river, local police have said.
