Cross firing between Police and outlawed Chanda led CPN cadres at Bjojpur Bazar, two persons including Police personnel killed

Kathmandu, Nepal, July 10, 2019: A police personnel and a cadre of the outlawed Netra Bikram Chanda led Communist Party of Nepal (CPN) have lost their lives at Bhojpur Bazar, the district headquarter of the Bhojpur district, when both the sides open fire on Wednesday morning.
As CPN cadres opened fire targeting to the Police, Constable Sanjiv Rai lost lives at around 8:30 am on Wednesday. 
Likewise, a CPN cadre Nir Kumar Rai, who is believed as district in charge of the party, was also killed when police also opened fire retaliating to the CPN cadres.   
Following the incident, additional security force have been deployed at the Bhojpur Bazar. 
This is the first incident that Nepal police personnel lost lives due to the firing of the and outlawed Chanda led CPN cadres
