Curfew imposed in some parts of Kathmandu after demonstration of pro-royalist turned violent

 Kathmandu, Nepal: As demonstration called by the pro-royalist forces turned violent a curfew has been imposed in and around the Tinkune area of Kathmandu on Friday.

 
The Kathmandu District Administration Office (KDAO) enforced the curfew from Shantinagar Bridge to Manohara River Bridge that includes several areas, including from Gaushala to the airport, covering Garidhara, Tinkune, and Koteshwor. 
 
It ia said that curfew areas would be extended if situation required so.The curfew order is issued from 4:25 PM to 10 PM.According to the KDAO, the movement, gatherings, processions, protests, meetings, and road blockages are prohibited within the specified areas. 
 
 
The KDAO has stated that the decision to enforce curfew was made after the protesters resorted to arson and vandalism in Tinkune area.
