Former NEA Managing Director Ghising files writ petition at SC, preliminary hearing on Friday
Kathmandu, Nepal: Former Managing Director of Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA), Kulman Ghising, has filed a writ petition challanging the government decision to sack him from the post.
The writ petition registered at the Supreme Court on Thursday is scheduled to initial hear on Friday.
Ghising has claimed in the writ that his removal was illegal.
Ghising has named the Government of Nepal, energy minister Deepak Khadka, Ministry of Energy, Water Resources, and Irrigation, NEA board and newly appointed NEA executive director Hit Man Shakya as the opponent.
The Supreme court has scheduleed preliminary hear writ petition for Friday.
