Four people, including three members of the same family, were killed with sharp weapons in Tinkune of Kathmandu

Kathmandu, Nepal, September 16, 2023: Four people, including three members of the same family, were killed in Gaihrigaon, Tinkune of the Kathmandu Metropolitan City Ward No. 32 on last night.

Four dead bodies were found on Saturday morning. The dead bodies are identified as Kumar Bhujel, 55, of Dolakha, his wife Ambika Bhujel and mother Shubhadra Bhujel. Another deceased has been identified as Navin Rai, 19 of Morang.

 It is said that Kumar's mother Shubhadra came to Kathmandu from home a few days ago while others deceased are the employees of the same mill. 

According to the police, the bodies of the four people who were killed were found with sharp weapons in different parts of their bodies. The bodies of the four murdered persons have now been taken to the Trivi Teaching Hospital, Maharajganj for post-mortem.

The police have arrested 28-years old Dipendra Rai on suspicion of being involved in the incident. According to the police, he was arrested with blood on his clothes and shoes. Arrested Rai, who had also consumed alcohol, took a taxi and reached Nayabaneshwar police circle in Tinkune.

A police have said that investigation process is initiated into the tragic murder of four people including three persons of a same family.
