Leaders of the splinter faction of the ruling NCP challenge of severe consequences in the country

Kathmandu, Nepal, January 22, 2020: The leaders of the Pushpa Kamal Dahal and Madhav Kumar Nepal led faction of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) have lambasted the leader of the another faction led by KP Sharma Oli, who is also the Prime Minister, for dissolving the parliament going against the constitution and spirit of the recent change. 

Addressing amass mass rallies taken out today in Kathmandu, the leaders of the splinter faction of the ruling NCP also challenged of severe consequence if the ‘reactionary’ move to dissolve the parliament was not corrected from the Supreme Court (SC). 

During the address, different leaders of the faction including Chairmen duo Dahal and Nepal expressed their hope that the Election Commission would grant authenticity to its faction with recent election symbol and the SC would reinstate the dissolved parliament to protest the constitution.    

Rallies taken out from different parts of the valley converged at the Brikutimandap. As hundreds of thousands cadres have taken out the streets from different parts of the Kathmandu valley, traffic movement severely affected.
