  Kathmandu, Nepal      February 25 2020

Kathmandu, Nepal, February 25, 2020: Nepali Congress (NC) leader Gagan Thapa has demanded the resignation of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli.  Speaking at the meeting of the House of Representatives, NC leader Thapa also raised question marks over his strength to run the government.

Referring to the issue related to immediate past Information Minister Gokul Baskota, who had stepped down from the post after he faced charge of his  alleged involvement in seeking bribe while procuring security printing from a Swiss company, NC leader Thapa also sought clarification from the prime minister over the issues.

Likewise, he also urged Speaker Agni Sapkota to draw the attention of the government and the prime minister over recent corruption scandals. The Prime Minister should give clarification over his alleged involvement over the issue related to the immediate past government’s spokesperson Baskota, Thapa said.
