Kathmandu, Nepal, July 1, 2020: The leaders of the ruling head Nepal Communist Party (NCP) have intensified consultations to discuss over the possible consequences of the party and the government after party faced widening differences on ranges of issues.

Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has invited some cabinet ministers loyal to him at his official residence, Baluwatar on Wednesday morning to consult over the future course of the government and party.  It is said that those ministers who are not loyal to him are not invited in the meeting, claims the source at the office of the Prime Minister Oli.

As senior leaders of the NCP including the executive chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal demanded resignation of Prime Minister Oli on the moral ground during the standing committee meeting on Tuesday, it is widely suspected that Prime Minister Oli would dissolve the parliament to escape the no confidence motion.

Likewise, other senior leaders of the party have also intensified consultations in bilateral and trilateral level.  It is said that executive chairman Dahal has also been consulting with party’s senior leaders including Madhav Kumar Nepal, Jhala Nath Khanal and Bamdev Gautam from the early morning Monday.

Expressing serious exceptions against of the statement of Oli that forces within Nepal and India were conspiring against him to oust from the post for publishing revised political and administrative map of Nepal including the Limipiyadhura, Lipulekh and Kalapani are, which was encroached upon by India, the leaders have been exerting pressure to Oli for resignation from the post of Prime Minister and party president.
