Nepal and USA agree to establish a Bilateral Consultation Mechanism

Kathmandu, Nepal, October 01, 2024:  Nepal and the United States of America (USA) have signed in an agreement to establish a Bilateral Consultation Mechanism between the two countries.

The agreement was reached at the U.S. Department of State and signed by Foreign Minister Dr. Arzu Rana on behalf of Nepal government, and Acting Deputy Secretary of State for Political Affairs John Bass on behalf of the USA government.

It is said that the mechanism will facilitate consultations and discussions among the high level of officials from Nepal’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the U.S. State Department.
