Nepal-India seventh joint commission meeting scheduled for the first week of coming January, 2024

Kathmandu, Nepal, December 07, 2023: The seventh meeting of the Nepal-India joint commission is going to be held in the first week of coming January, 2024. 

For the purpose, India’s External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar is arriving here in Kathmandu leading a Indian delegation in the invitation of Foreign Minister NP Saud.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) has said that Indian External Affairs Minister Jaishankar has already agreed upon to arrive in Nepal to take part in the meeting.  

Both the sides have tentatively agreed upon to meet in the first week of January though the exact date is not fixed yet, the MoFA said. In the meeting, Foreign Minister Saud will take part in the highest bilateral mechanism meeting leading a Nepalese delegation.
