Nepal’s coroanvirus infection tally reached to 218,639; death and recovery tally stand to 1,305 and 193,325 respectively

Kathmandu, Nepal, November 21, 2020: Nepal’s coronavirus infection tally has reached to 218,639 after 1,674 new cases recorded in the past 24 hours. Among the newly infected cases, 661 are females while 1,013 are males.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), of the newly infected cases 899 cases surfaced in Kathmandu Valley alone.  Among them, 685 were from Kathmandu district while 165 in Lalitpur district and 49 in Bhaktapur district.

Likewise, 2,323 people, who were earlier infected with the coronavirus, have been discharged after recovery in the past 24 hours. With the addition, total recovery tally of the country has reached to 193,325.

Similarly, death toll due to the infection of coronavirus, has reached to 1,305 after seven more fatalities related to the virus recorded in the past 24 hours. 

With the new updates, there are currently 24,009 active cases in the country. Among them, 757 individuals are staying in various quarantine facilities established across the country.
