Nepal’s coronavirus update: 224 new infection cases identified and four more died in the past 24 hours

Kathmandu, Nepal, July 31, 2020: Nepal’s coronavirus infection tally has reached to 19,771 after 224 new cases recorded including 38 in Kathmandu valley in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), 224 people tested positive of the virus while conducting test of 10,768 specimens through PCR method across the country in the last 24 hours.

Likewise, 151 persons who earlier tested positive for coronavirus have been discharged after recovery the virus in the past 24 hours.

Death toll reached to 56 

Likewise death toll due to the infection of coronavirus has reached to 56 after four died in the past 24 hours. 

It is said that three persons died in Parsa district while one died in Kathmandu during the course of treatment at Patan hospital.
