Kathmandu, Nepal, August 20, 2019: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has called an all-party meeting at 5 pm on Tuesday.
It is said that the meeting was called to discuss over the issue of forming the two transitional justice bodies- Truth and Reconciliation Commission (TRC) and Commission on Investigation of Enforced Disappeared Persons (CIEDP).
Notwithstanding the concerns of the concerned stake holders including the conflict victims, national and international right agencies, and political parties, the government has been hasting to form the two transitional justice mechanisms.
Prime Minister Oli had already vowed that the government would form the transitional justice mechanism within a week.
It is said that Prime Minister wants to forge consensus over the issue before leaving for Singapore. He is living for Singapore on Thursday for his routine health check-up.
