Police Arrest Security Guard On The Charge Of Involvement In The Murder Of Former Ambassador To France Jha

Kathmandu, Nepal, Aug 18, 2019: Following months long investigation, Nepal Police have arrested for his alleged charge of involvement in the murder of former ambassador to France Keshav Raj Jha.

Sanukancha Tamang, a security guard deployed in Jha's residence, who hails from Panauti Municipality-10 of Kavre district, has been arrested by a team of Nepal Police mobilized from the Metropolitan Police Crime Division on Sunday. 

With the arrest, Police present at Kathmandu District Court. The Court has remanded Tamang for seven days in judicial custody for further investigation.

Jha was found dead on August 20 last year at his Babarmahal of Kathmandu based resident.
