Prime Minister Oli and UML leaders meet NC leaders including president Deuba at letter’s resident

Kathmandu, Nepal, May 5, 2021: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, who is also the chair of ruling CPN UML, has urged the Nepali Congress (NC) to move ahead through the consensus to run the government. 

Prime Minister Oli has made such urge with NC leaders including president Sher Bahadur Deuba by reaching at latter’s resident, Budhanilkantha, on Wednesday afternoon. 

Prime Minister Oli was accompanied by UML leaders Ishowr Pokhrel, Ram Bahadur Thapa, Bushnu Poudel and Subash Nembang while NC senior leader Ram Chandra Poudel, vice president Bimalendra Nidhi, General Secretary Duo Sashanka Koirala and Purna Bahadur Khadka and another leader Krishna Sitaula were present in the meeting.      

Responding to the urge of the Prime Minister Oli, NC President Deuba said that his part would not support to the government until and unless it corrects its unconstitutional activities. 

Prime Minister Oli has met the NC leaders to seek support to run the government at the time when his government has lost majority strength in the parliament after CPN Maoist Center withdraws its support.
