Ruling head NCP marks ‘people’s war day’ in a different style

Kathmandu, Nepal, February 13 2020: The ruling head Nepal Communist Party (NCP) has marked the ‘people’s war day’ naming the program as condolence meets on Thursday. 

Hinting to the ‘people’s war’ and unification between the two communist party chairperson of the NCP Pushpa Kamal Dahal said that all the achievements were made because of the right principle and leadership of the party.  

The federal democratic republic was established as a result of the ten-year armed conflict waged by then CPN Maoist, Dahal claimed while addressing the function. 

NCP vice-chairperson Bamdev Gautam said that the armed conflict was for people's liberation and prosperity. Other leaders of the party had also spoke highlighting the ‘people’s war day. 

As then CPN Maoist had launched armed conflict from the first day of Falgun in 2052 BS, the day used to be marked as the ‘people’s war day.’
