Secretariat meeting of the ruling NCP concludes with the decision to hold next meeting on December 1 at Party’s Dhumbarahi based headquarter

Kathmandu, Nepal, November 28, 2020: The Secretariat meeting of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) has concluded on Saturday with the decision to hold next meeting on December 1. 

As per the decision, next meeting of the party will be held at the party headquarters in Dhumbarahi to discuss over the proposals tabled by the co-chairs duo KP Sharma Oli and Pushpa Kamal Dahal.

At the meeting held at the Prime Minister Oli’s official residence in Baluwatar, leaders from the rival factions exchanged heated words even alleging each others for bringing the party at the stage of vertical spilt.

Though the Prime Minister Oli presented his written response to the allegations made against him by the Executive Chairman Dahal, no discussions were held over the proposals, said a source close to the party. 

In the proposal Oli has alleged Dahal for motivating with the personal ego and ambitions. Earlier, Dahal had presented a proposal alleging Oli of promoting corruption in the country and running in a unilateral manner.
