Kathmandu, Nepal, October 10, 2020: The talk team formed from the side of agitating Dr. KC to hold talks with the government’s talk team has urged one and all to intensify protest programs to exert pressure to the government to fulfill demands raised by Dr. KC to improve medical and medical education sectors.

As the talks held on Friday failed to reach an understanding over the appointment criteria at the Institute of Medicine (IOM), Tribhuvan University, the supporters of the agitating Dr. KC have urged to organize a demonstration at Maitighar Mandala of Kathmandu today.

The talks had ended without any conclusion after government allegedly turned down some of the key agreements reached earlier at the level of talk team of both the sides.

It is said that government turned down the agreement reached between both the sides to bring amendment in the existing laws and establish criteria while making appointment of IOM Dean and other office bearers on the basis of seniority.
