AT Least Three killed, Four injured at Lukla plane accident

Solukhumbu, Nepal, April 14, 2019: At least three killed and four injured when a Summit Air plane met with an accident while taking-off from Lukla based Tenzing Hillary Airport on Sunday morning. 

According to the reports the accident occurred when a Summit Air plane and Manang Air helicopter collided each other when Summit Air plane was taking-off for Kathmandu. The plane had come to collide to the parked helicopter. 

The deceased have been identified as co-pilot of the ill -fated plane Sunil Dhungana and sub inspector of Nepal police Ram Bahadur Khadka and Assistant Sub Inspector Rudra Bahadur Shrestha.
The entire injured are airlifted to Kathmandu. Injured are identified as Manang Air Pilot CB Gurung and others. Sherestha had breathed his last while receiving treatment at Grande hospital in Kathmandu.
