Kathmandu, Nepal: CPN UML senior leader Madhav Kumar Nepal has said that constitution would not be amended by neglecting his party.

‘There is no possibility of the amendment of the constitution without consultation with the UML,’ Nepal, who is also the former Prime Minister, said while speaking to the media person at Kavrepalanchowk on Sunday.

UML leader Nepal has said so in the mean time when party president KP Sharma Oli has completely been denying amending the constitution.

Though he did not mention clearly, he hinted that UML would be positive even to amend the constitution if the government allies move ahead by consulting with the UML.

During the function, Nepal also urged all the political parties to forge consensus for the implementation of the constitution.

Constitutional vacuum would be created after January 2018, if the political parties fail to take the issue seriously, Nepal had a saying.
