Kathmandu, Nepal, June 20, 2022: The Nepal-America International Film Festival 2022 is going to be held from June 23 to 26 in Maryland of the USA through the both physically and virtually means. Nepal America Film Society (NAFS) is going to organize the festival. The non–profit organization NAFS has been organizing the festival since 2017 AD.
According to the organizer, different 38 films from around 12 countries including Nepal and America will be screened at the festival. It is said that the festival will be inaugurated along with the movie screening of the film ‘Halkara’ directed by Bikram Sapkota at Greenbelt Theater while the festival will be closed after screening the documentary ‘Brick Mule’ by Michael Brown and short film ‘The Lip Readers’ by Eric Spink.
Seven judges namely as Anup Subedi from Nepal and Rebecca Bustamante Nina Streich, Bhavani Rao, Deborah Jones, Farid Bozorgmehr and Portia Cobe from America will select the winner of the festival. The best movies selected for the competition will be awarded.
