Kathmandu, Nepal, March 7, 2023: Nepal defeated the United Arab Emirates (UAE) by 42 runs in the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup League 2 in Dubai.
Nepal defeated the host country, UAE, by 42 runs after defending a total of 229 runs. With the win, Nepal’s dreamt to keep its World Cup qualification has become alive.
Batting first after winning the toss, Nepal posted a total of 229 runs. Of the total runs, Bhim Sarki posted 70 runs, Aarif Sheikh 43 runs, Kushal Malla runs and Sandeep Lamichhane 27 runs.
In the bowling, Junaid Siddique took 3 wickets while Rohan Mustafa and Aryan Lakra took 2 wickets each.
