Kathmandu, February 28, 2022: Nepal recorded 119 new cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) cases from across the country in the past 24 hours on Monday. With the addition, nationwide infection tally has advanced to 976984. 

Of the total infected cases, 49 cases were recorded in Kathmandu valley alone. Of them, 40 cases were recorded in Kathmandu, four in Bhaktapur, and five in Lalitpur district, the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) has stated.

Meanwhile, 400 people, who had infected earlier with the virus, have been discharged after getting recovered in the past 24 hours. With the addition, nationwide recovery tally has advanced to 956813.

Likewise, one more death related to the coronavirus has been recorded in the past 24 hours. With the addition, nationwide death tally has advanced to 11936.
