Kathmandu, Nepal, January 3, 2022: Nepal records 291 new cases of cronavirus (COVID-19) infection from across the country in the past 24 hours on Monday. With the addition, nationwide infection tally has advanced to 829277.
Meanwhile, 255 people, who had infected earlier with the virus, have been discharged after getting recovered in the past 24 hours. With the addition, nationwide recovery tally has advanced to 812674.
Likewise, two more deaths related to the coronavirus infections have been recorded in the past 24 hours. With the addition, mortality tally related to the coronavirus infection has advanced to 11598.
There are currently 5005 active cases of coronavirus infection across the country. Of the total active cases, only 98 individuals are staying in quarantine facilities.
