Kathmandu, Nepal, October 7, 2020: Nepal’s coronavirus (COVID-19) infection tally reached to 94,253 after 3,439 people tested positive for the virus in the past 24 hours.
This is the single day record high in terms of number of infection in the country.
Among the newly infected cases, 1,684 have been reported from within Kathmandu Valley alone.
Likewise, the country also witnessed 15 new cases of death linked to COVID-19 on Wednesday. With the new addition, a total number of death linked to COVID-19 reached to 578.
According to the Health Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), 1,126 people, who had infected earlier for the coronavirus, have been discharged after recovery in the last 24-hours. With the new addition, total numbers of recovery cases have reached to 68,668.
