Kathmandu, Nepal, May 2, 2022: Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) nosedived at first trading day of the week by 48.73 points and closed at 2,307.44 points, which is 2.07 percent, on Monday.
All the 13 sectors remain red on Monday. In the last trading day on Thursday, the NEPSE index had also lost by 20 points.
The NEPSE index opened at 2,358.24 points made the intraday high at 2,359.27 points while made the intraday low at 2,303.70 points before closing at 2,307.44 points.
A total of 3,978,079 unit shares and amounting of Rs. 1.423 Arba in the turnover amount were exchanged on Monday.
Arun Valley Hydropower Development Co. Ltd. (AHPC) made the highest turnover of Rs. 4.73 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 395.70 per share while the Sunrise First Mutual Fund (SFMF) traded the most.
Similarly, Jalpa Samudayik Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (JALPA) gained 9.99 percent while the Nepal Finance Ltd. (NFS) lost the highest by 10 percent.
