Kathmandu, Nepal, September 27, 2021: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index has continued to decline even on Monday. The NEPSE index has closed at 2,685.41 points after losing 73.05 points from yesterday's closing. The index had lost 61.27 points on Sunday as well.
Likewise, the sensitive index and float index have also fallen down massively on Monday as well. The sensitive index closed at 506.33 points declining by 12.94 points while the float index closed at 188.96 points declining by 5.24 points.
The index, which had opened at 2,762.60 points, made the intraday high at 2,769.10 points and intraday low as 2,678.36 points before closing at 2,685.41 points. This is the lowest points since four months.
A total of 10,478,068 shares amounting to Rs. 5.120 Arba in the turnover amount were traded on Monday. The turnover amount is lower than the previous day on Sunday.
Arun Valley Hydropower Development Company Limited (AHPC) has made the highest turnover of Rs. 15.49 crores. Its shares also traded the most on Monday. The market price of the company has closed at Rs. 492 per share.
