The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index has continuously been plunging down making panic the investors in Nepal.  Continuing the downwards trends, the NEPSE index losses by 41.77 points, which is equivalent to 1.75 percent from yesterday’s closing on Monday. 


The index opened at 2386.66 points closed at 2,343.87 points after losing 41.77 points in the second trading day of the week today. The index had lost by 29.60 points at the first trading day of the week on Sunday. 

The index opened at 2386.66 points made an intraday high at 2387.12 points while intraday low at 2,342.04 points before closing at 2,343.87 points. This is the lowest closing points since 12th December, 2021. 

A total of 3,876,302 shares of 229 scrips were exchanged via 31,825 transactions amounting to Rs. 1.530 Arba in the turnover amount on Monday. 
 
Nabil Bank Limited (NABIL) had made the highest turnover of Rs. 4.96 crores with market price of Rs. 956 per share while the shares of Nepal Infrastructure Bank Limited (NIFRA) traded the most today.

NESDO Sambridha Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (NESDO) gained 10 percent and hit the positive circuit breaker while the NRN Infrastructure and Development Limited (NRN) lost the highest by 8.33 percent. Out of 13 sectors, all the sectors closed red. Finance sector lost the highest by 3.44 percent.
