Kathmandu, Nepal, November 28, 2022: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index closed at 1,950.37 points after losing 15.61 points from last trading day's closing on Monday. The 15.61 points loss is equal to loss of 0.79 percent. In the first trading day of the week on Sunday, the NEPSE index had gained 32.43 points.
The NEPSE index that was opened at 1,968.93 points made intraday high at 1,980.26 points and intraday low at 1,947.37 points before ultimately closing at 1,950.37 points.
A total of 3,761,299 shares were traded through 236 scrips traded hands and 24,951 transactions amounting to Rs. 1.494 Arba in the turnover amount.
With the decline of the NEPSE index, the turnover amount has also slightly declined, thanks to the buying pressure. Sunday’s turnover amount was Rs. 2.025 Arba.
Himalayan Distillery Limited (HDL) had the highest turnover of Rs. 16.46 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 3,970.10 per share while the shares of Shine Resunga Development Bank Ltd. (SHINE) traded the most.
Likewise, Khaptad Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (KLBS) gained the highest by 8.18 percent while the Synergy Power Development Ltd. (SPDL) lost by 4.56 percent.
Out of the total 13 sector indices, only two sector index closed red. "Mutual Fund" sector indices gained the highest by 0.24 percent while the "Finance" sector indices lost the highest 1.51by percent.
