Kathmandu, Nepal October 10, 2022: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index has declined by 1.43 percent on Monday. The NEPSE has closed at 1,871.22 points after losing 27.16 points. The NESE index had gained 44.62 points on Sunday, the first trading day of the week opened after the end of Dashain festival.

The NEPSE index that was opened at 1,901.25 points created the intraday high at 1,908.58 and intraday low points at 1,866.83 before closing at 1,871.22 points. A total of 3,155,695 shares were exchanged amounting to Rs. 97.17 Crores in the turnover amount. 
 
Himalayan Everest Insurance Limited Promoter (HEIP) shares traded the most and had the highest turnover of Rs. 16.58 crores with market price of Rs. 251.10 per share.

Similarly, Aviyan Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (AVYAN) gained the highest by 9.99 percent and technically hit positive circuit for the day while the Garima Debenture, 2085 (GBBD85) lost the highest by 8.13 percent.

Out of the total 13 sector indices, only one sector closed green, "Mutual Fund" sector indices gained just by 0.84 percent while "Development Bank" sector indices lost the highest by 2.65 percent.
