NRB Governor Adhikari Elected As Chairman of SAARC Finance

Kathmandu, Nepal, November 15, 2021: Governor of Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) Maha Prasad Adhikari has been elected as the chairman of South Asian Association for Regional Coperation (SAARC) Finance. 

A meeting of the 42nd SAARC Finance Governors Group elected Adhikari as chairman for one year term. His one year term will begin from Tuesday. 

In the virtual meeting organized by Maldives Monetary Authority, governors and deputy governors of central banks of SAARC countries were present. 

SAARC finance is a network of Central Bank Governors and Finance Secretaries of the region.
