Kathmandu, Nepal, February 15, 2022: Popular actress as well as producer of the Nepalese film industries Rekha Thapa has tied a nuptial knot with Balaram Shahi. According to the media reports, the duo recently got court marriage at Kathmandu district court.
It is said that actress Thapa had fall in love with Shahi since few years. Shahi, who originally hails from Jajarkot district and professionally as businessman, has currently been residing in Israel.
This is the second marriage of Actress Thapa. Earlier, she had married to producer Chhaviraj Oja. However, they had got divorced about one decade ago.
Actress Thapa, who had debuted with the Hero film in 1998, has earned fame and name in the Nepalese film industries. She has not only performed in dozens of Nepalese films but produced some films as well.
Apart of the film sector, she has also been engaging in Nepali politics as well. She had vied in the post of General Secretary of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) in the recently held general convention of the party. However, she had lost the elections with Kunti Shahi.
